Mazarrón back to live last Friday a new day of civic awareness so that the beaches and streets of the town display as clean as possible. The council of Environment, David Fernández, has wanted to  remember  that this year “this campaign focuses in attract the attention of the citizens and businessmen  about this problem so that they join to the effort  that we are carrying out from the town hall so that  Mazarrón displays the best possible during, not only these important summer months, but  also the rest of the year”.

On Friday morning “Red Cross Youth Mazarrón” continued with the work undertaken by its volunteers on last 9th August and they came back to go to the beach to inform to the  bathers  of the importance of respecting the environment and  distribute the popular  cones ashtray  edited by the hotel  “Health resort of Mazarrón-Sensol” with the collaboration  of the council of Environment. The young walked the beaches of La Isla, Bahía, La Reya and Playa Grande. “Red Cross Youth Mazarrón” will repeat this action on 23rd  August in the beach of Bolnuevo.

In the afternoon the club of hiking “Friends of Nature” also distributed information to the bathers of the beach of La Ermita, Bahía and La Reya giving some brochures that have been edited by the town hall in which urging to the citizens  that  “together we can achieve a clean town”. The brochure shows some tips to join to this work and various information such as the telephone  that you should phone if you have to throw furniture, equioment or pruning of any type and it is 968 15 33 93.

On Friday afternoon it should be noticed that were joined to the initiative some members of the “Fishing Club Puerto de Mazarrón” that defends its right  to practice this sport in the beaches always that  is collected the equipment and  waste that the practice  of this sport can generate. Also will participate in the campaign of this year “Reforestadores Mazarrón” who from 1st September will do a  search of cleaning and information by Playa Grande and also the beach of  Bolnuevo.
