Comunidades Autónomas square of Puerto de Mazarrón  received on Saturday the I National Canine Contest that is celebrated in the town and in which participated more than 150 exemplary  of diverse dog breeds.The contest, that was a success, was followed by hundreds of people that enjoyed of a singular show and of special interest for the animals lovers. In this competition were the council of Sports, Andrés Valera, and the councils María Martínez, Magdalena Méndez and  David Fernández.

In this sense, we should highlight that the absolute podium of the competition was composed by Afghan greyhound named  “Golddrango in absolute world” in the first place; followed for the miniature  teckel of short hair  “Pink Floyd da casa dos cuadros” In the second place; and the bouvier de Flandes “Katrina de dasilva” in the third place. All of them received a trophy with the top three until a total of 19 categories from which were the best  exemplary.

The council of Sports, Andrés Valera, was very satisfied for the development of the contest. “It has been something new and special that we have wanted to support for first time with occasion of the celebration of our  440 years of History”, has stated the council, who has assured that “is our purpose keep motivating contests such this in our town, as it has been very successful and the citizens have enjoyed greatly”. The contest also became  in a tourist attraction  more of which are  scheduled this summer from the Town Hall.
