Due to the increase in infections by Covid19 that have been occurring in recent days in the Region of Murcia and following the recommendations of the health authorities transferred to the council by the Regional Executive, the Mazarrón City Council has proceeded to take the following measures:

Attendance in person to the municipal administrative services is suspended, except for appointments.

The School of Music, of the Maestro Eugenio Calderón Musical Association is closed.

The Mazarrón and Puerto Libraries are closed, but the services of the Study Room of the Mazarrón Cultural Center and the Puerto de Mazarrón Study Room remain open.

The Municipal Museums and the Tourist Office are closed

Municipal sports facilities are closed, except for training sessions and meetings of teams / athletes of national category

The Mazarrón Day Center for the Elderly is closed

All the parks, gardens and public play areas in the municipality of Mazarrón are closed (including the Bolnuevo and El Rihuete calisthenics parks). Also, the gathering of people is prohibited in squares and public areas.

These measures will be in force until January 31 inclusive. ´

The City Council invites all citizen to act with extreme responsibility so that the hygienic-sanitary measures and the regulations adopted by the Regional Government together with the competent health authorities are complied with. Especially the latest restriction announced on 14^th January 2021 in which interaction in indoor and outdoor spaces between family, friends and acquaintances who are not living together is not allowed  during the next two weeks.
