Last week a group of British volunteers organized a collection of food in the Consum foyer for the Charity Organization CARITAS.  More than 25 trolleyfuls were collected.for those families that are finding themselves in difficulty due to the pandemic situation.

The Mayor of Mazarrón Gaspar Miras, and the Councillor for Camposol and International Relations Silvana Buxton, were present at the collection point to thank and congratulate the Volunteers for their time and efforts in campaigning for the success of this great cause.

The representatives of Cáritas who were present at the handover of the food collected expressed teir sincere thanks to the ladies Volunteers who provided  such a lifeline to the many families in need of essential food which they would have been unable to afford at present..
