A period of consultation and amendment of data held by the electoral census for the municipal and regional elections of May 28
On April 4, the Municipal and Autonomous Elections will be officially announced and the date they are to be held is on May 28. A period for public display of the electoral roll will be open from April 10 to 17, both inclusive. During said period, any voter can lodge an objection or query about the electoral data held by the INE (national statistics institute) and amend their data if necessary.
Claims must be presented personally by the interested party and must be signed by the interested party. A copy of DNI/Passport, TIE or Residence card must be attached.
Queries about the data contained in the electoral census can be made at the Department of Statistics of Mazarrón Town Hall and in Puerto de Mazarrón at the Council’s Office at the Plaza de Abastos (indoor market), Avenida Doctor Meca, Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
With regard to British expats who registered to vote in the Mazarrón municipal election before the January 15 deadline but are unsure whether their voting request was processed, confirmation can be sought at the above locations on the given dates.
Likewise, a list of polling stations and their locations will be displayed. Voters can file a claim about the aforementioned data held by the Provincial Electoral Board from April 11 to 16.
