A new Sporting event makes its debut appearance on the calendar of Mazarrón on June 12 when the national and international “SwimRun Mazarrón Costa Cálida” event is held in Bolnuevo.

This endurance test is essentially like a triathlon without the bike ride: athletes are required to alternate between open water swimming and running, in this case over two distances: the “Half” (20 km) and the “Sprint” (10 km).

Competitors may enter individually or as a couple, with the event starting at 10.00 at the beachside car park in Bolnuevo at 10.00. The finishing line is at the beach of Bahía, and online registration is required here.

Competitors ought to be warned that among those competing is Swedish athlete Fanny Kuhn, world SwimRun champion in 2019!
