The MABS association, a foundation dedicated to helping patients suffering from cancer in the municipality, has received a donation of almost 200 euros from the ‘CDA Fitness’ gym this morning.

The director of the center, Ian Fields, has delivered the check to the president of the association, Beverly Thompson, who have been accompanied by other members of the association and the councilors of Citizen Participation, José María Moreno, and Camposol and International Relations, Silvana Buxton.

The councilors have thanked and congratulated the gesture to the director of the gym for this contribution and wrapped up the MABS foundation, whose members had expressed their wish that the City Council was present at the ceremony.

Moreno, in Spanish, and Buxton, in English, have commented that "this donation is appreciated because it is very important that associations have support to develop their activity." The councilors have also wished "to give this example, because it is appreciated that a private company helps an association so that its needs are somewhat alleviated."
