The municipal Plenary of the Town Hall of Mazarrón approved yesterday with the favor votes of the Government Team a budget item of  450.000 euros destined to the reparation of the bridge in the rambla of the urbanization Camposol, that has been severely damaged for the rains in the Region last  29th September. The economic endowment has been disposed from other economical items of the Municipal Budget to avoid an added debt to the municipal coffers.

The Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, has highlighted that this approval “is another example of the interest of the Town Hall to solve the problems of the citizens of Camposol, giving answer to their needs and acting fast and in an effective way face the eventualities. In fact, it is working in a path that crosses the  rambla so that the sectors C, D, E and F can be connected with the sector A and B until the completion of the repair work of the bridge”.

This item was approved by urgency via as happened  with which proposed a support of extraordinary credit to cancel the credit policy of the company “Bahía de Mazarrón Ingeniería Urbana 2007 S.L.” with which has bought a new garbage collection truck. The coucil of Urban Solid Waste, Francisco García, highlighted that this extraordinary credit, approved also with the votes of the Government Team, “it has adjusted to the current Municipal Budget retracting of other items, that will help to lower the debt of the municipal company and keeping the balance of the accounts of the Town Hall”. García added that “in no case the modification of the budget items will affect to the normal function of the municipal services”.

In this sense, the Mayor wanted to highlight that  “we can dispose of both economic amounts because there are free items. And this is due because, despite that we are in November, we have carried out a thorough restrictive economic management in the expense. For that we can dispose of this money to conclude the year with less expense executed that provided for the normal development of the budgeted activities”.

Also it was approved, in this occasion for unanimity, the Investment Plan annual 2011 and 2012 that, as explained the council of Infrastructure, Francisco García; “contemplates the renovation of the collector of Bolnuevo for an amount of 713.000 euros plus IVA. The works will involve a renovation of the sewerage from the Pum Station Wastewater (EBAR) of Bolnuevo until the Puntabela channel”. The project, once that it has the approval, will be send to the areas of Intervention and Contracting.

And also for unanimity, it was approved the proposal to inform favorably the project of conditioning  of the Alamillo viewpoint and its provision for that the general direction of State Costs undertakes the works of this promenade that will adopt an area of  40.000 square meters along of 400 meters of coastline of the beach of Alamillo and Playa Negra. The works contemplate the construction of the promenade, paths, a viewpoint and a bike path, and other services and infrastructure.
