The Municipal Plenum of the Town Hall of Mazarrón approved definitely this Tuesday the Partial Plan Sector S-03/18 denominated “El Faro”, and also the action program of it. The councilor for Town Planning , Francisco García, explained that “we solve definitely this parcial plan that is waiting long time a solution and that includes a modification of buildability, ceding the urbanizer ‘Urbincasa’ 14.280 square meters that are carried to general free spaces”.

In this way, the free spaces have now a surface of  22.546’84 m2, the equipments represent 9.244’09 m2, there is a reserve of 3.364,12 m2 for houses of low density, and also 332 parking spaces and 10 for disabled. Francisco García highlighted that “with this approval are consolidated the rights of the citizens of the cooperative ‘Alto de las Canteras’ to who has estimated its allegation over the area and is also expected a protection of 77.169 m2 of protection of Coasts of the seafront”.

Also was approved with the favorable votes of the Government Team, and for first time by the Town Hall of Mazarrón, start a file of forced expropriation inside of the Partial Plan of Ordination Bahía Fases 3 and 5. This urban plan has been stopped since  30 years ago  by problems between the owners of the lands of the area. Through the approval, “the Town Hall acts as an intermediary in this process in which the Compensation Board created some years ago is in charge of coping the judicial process that affects to it”, pointed out the councilor for Town Planning, Francisco García. This agreement will be advertised in the Boletín Oficial de la Región de Murcia (BORM) and through of a regional daily newspaper to open a period of public information to inform to each one of the affected.

The Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, has stated about this point that  “never before was carried out this kind of action in our town but, as mere intermediaries, we should work to give solution to this historical problem, with the technicians as guarantors of the legality, as the development of this area will represent an economic benefit for the town”.

Other of the points approved were the dates of the local festivities for the next year that , as usual, will be on 13th June, that corresponds to the San Antonio patron; and 17th November, date in which is celebrated the Miracle of the patrona, La Purísima Concepción, that, as the legend tells, interceded to save to the town of a berberisca intrusion 428 years ago.

Other of the points approved by the Plenum was the proposal of mayoralty in which urged in the Department of Education, Universities and Employment  that undertakes, as quickly as possible and before the end of this year 2013, the works and the complete repair of the wall of the C.E.I.P. ‘Francisco Caparrós’ of Mazarrón, the works and total repair of the wall of the C.E.I.P. ‘La Aceña’ of Mazarrón and the works and complete repair of the ceiling of the C.E.I.P ‘Ginés García’ of Mazarrón. All works that, from the area of Municipal Intervention, are considered responsibility of the Autonomous Community of Murcia.

Also was initially approved the Municipal Ordinance Regulator  of ‘Issue of Arms Cards and the use’. The regularized weapons are carabines and  semi automatic shotguns and of repetition and revolvers of double action, activated by air or other compressed gas unassimilated to shotguns. Also the carabines and  guns, smooth or  streaked, and of an only one shot; and revolvers of single action, activated by air or other compressed gas unassimilated to shotguns.

In the area of Patrimony, was approved to rectify a mistake of the agreement passed by the Municipal Plenum on 28th September  2010 about a land ceded to the Institut of Housing and Land of Murcia Region. Now, the land will be dedicated exclusively to the construction of social houses. This autonomous organization can not change the destination of the land, neither using it for different uses. The breach will determine the reversion of the assets transferred to the Town Hall. In case that in the term of  5 years the construction is not built, the land  will also revert to the Town Hall.

Finally, the Plenum approved not admit the appeals of interposition presented by the Popular Municipal Group against the agreements of Plenum of 14th August  2013 related with the Dedication Regime and the Municipal Budget and the List of Job Positions (R.P.T.), and also not admit the appeal of interposition presented by the syndicate SIME against the agreement of Plenum of 14th August  2013 related with the Municiapal Budget and the List of Job Positions  (R.P.T.). The three were rejected for the existence of the pertinent reports within of each one of the adopted agreements on 14th August of this year.
