The Local Government Board of the Town Hall of Mazarrón has approved this morning the formal reception of the water cycle of the works of urbanization of Plan Parcial 1ª Fase A 05 07, which is integrated by the sectors “A” and “BCDF” of Camposol urbanization. That is to say, the Town hall is now the responsable of the water distribution system, sewerage, pump stations and wastewater treatment plant of Camposol.

This decision means that  the Town Hall will take over from now  the maintenance and repairs of the infrastructure of the water cycle, that are deficient and they can´t be fixed by the company “Justo y Manoli S.L.”, as the last local government team of del Partido Popular dismissed to the company of its condition of urbanizer by agreement of the Local Government Board on 15th April 2011.

In this way, starts the process of normalization of this public service necessary for the population, avoiding that the municipal water company “Aqualia Gestión Integral del Agua” has to cut the water supply due to not getting an agreement with “Justo y Manoli S.L.”, who was charging by the service through the system of compensation form the beginning. Thanks to this decision, the Town Hall guarantees the supply of this public service for all the residents of Camposol, taking over the responsability that other corporation were unable to assume.

The situation of the water supply, that has some deficiencies, is due to the abandonment that has suffered Camposol urbanization for years by the previous corporations that, instead of facing the problems that it has since the beginning, they have turned they backs  to this area of  Mazarrón. Precisely, supervision of the infrastructure has been one the points that haven´t been care of. Something that the current Government team is doing in charge of the Town Hall.

Therefore, the Government team has made a firm step ahead  this morning in order to continue offering and improving this service, as they had to face the break to the bridge of  Camposol when it was produced for the rains in September 2012. An infrastructure that, finally, was fixed with funds from the Town Hall.

For all this, and in defense and support of the residents of Camposol one more time, was necessary this agreement to guarantee the water supply in the urbanization and in order to advance in the improvements that are needed to carry out before progressing in the process of reception and integration of Camposol in the Plan General Municipal de Ordenación (PGMO). “Aqualia” and  “E.S.A.M.U.R.”, this last one in relation to the purification water, are the companies in charge of the management of these services.
