The council of Tourism of the Town Hall of Mazarrón has started a website in internet under the domain  “turismo.mazarron.es” with which is opened a tourist window of infinite possibilities that will mean a revolution in the promotion of the town outward. So they make known yesterday by the Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, the council of Tourism of the Town Hall, María Celeste Soria, and the technician of the department, Pío Garrido. The web www.mazarron.es, is exclusively dedicated to the tourism but “also is diversified to accommodate the hotel trade, the restaurant industry and the trade, whose profesionals have participated in its creation and who will have an important presence in this dinamic tool”, stated  Ginés Campillo.

In this sense, are tens the applications that has the site and that will be a before and an after in the way of understanding the tourist promotion in Mazarrón. One of them is the presence of offers and  tourist packages of the stores and trades added to the possibility of making  on-line bookings in the hotels and accommodatios of the town for those companies that are adhered to the system of  “Murcia Turística”, which has actively collaborated in the creation of this web. The technician Garrido explained that “those hotels or accommodations that are not adhered to the system of the regional organization, can contact with the Town Hall so that they can register and can profit of this new resource”.

Other of the new aspects is the “Cuaderno de Viaje (travel notebook)” that the surfer can make of easy and dinamic way. Visiting the different sections, among which there is no lack the culture, the archeology, the traditions, the gastronomy, the routes, the hotel and accommodation, and much more; the interested can save easily and through only one “click” those data, emblematic places or stores and shops that are interesting to, once finished the surfing, print it or save in a document that are generated in pdf. It is an original way and very useful so that the tourist can design his own visit  according with his interests and hobbies.

And although Mazarrón is “Mar y Más”, the beaches still have an important place in this web as, through a searcher, the surfers and tourists can know what beaches are the most interesting for them discovering the kind of sand, if they have granted a `Q´ of Tourist Quality, if they are nudists or not, and even, and this is other great advance in tourism, the analytic  of its waters. “It is a qualitative advance in the line of work for the tourist excellence that we are decidedly undertaking from the Town Hall ”, has stated the Mayor of Mazarrón. All this state of the beaches and waters is completed with a banner about meteorology in which will notice the weather and promoting in this way the large number of sunny days that Mazarrón enjoys.

The council María Celeste Soria, explained that “it is a great window to the exterior that offers infinity of possibilities not only in Spanish, also in English and French, languages in which it is translated”. The council of Tourism said that  “there is no lack of information or traditional sections that have been present, as brochures of before and now; but have carried out a great work of  update in the street maps of Mazarrón and Puerto, or as with the interest telephones that, for first time, have a section about transport besides of the usual of the two towns mentioned”, said Soria.

The Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, highlighted that “it is a website extraordinarily complete in which there is no lack a specific area, that is at the same time a tool, dedicated to the professionals and businessmen of the town; to who I thank for their suggestions and ideas when we were developing the web”. This area includes from the current  legislation until the publication of tourist statistics. The first council has highlighted that  “it is something that transcends to a simple website in Internet. It goes much further and with it we comply with the demand of the businessmen and also we bet for the tourism of Mazarrón as never before had bet”.
