Until next Friday 16 November you can enjoy in the assembly hall of the Universidad Popular of Mazarrón (UPM) of the exhibition “MEDI TERRANEUM”, composed of  36 photographs whose authors are Andrés Ñíguez, Tino Nieto, Antonio Jesús Muñoz, Carlos Javier Teruel, Emilio Reino, José Carlos Ñíguez, Julián Contreras, José Luis Balsalobre, Mariano Belmar, Joaquín Molina, Carlos José Pérez and Francisco Silvente. The exhibition can be visited from Monday to Friday from 10 to 14 and from 18 to 22 h. in the facilities of the UPM placed in Constitución avenue  of Mazarrón.

Andrés Ñíguez shows scenes in the Lighthouse Christmas with impeccable processed in white and black using speeds with low fillings, while that Tino Nieto shows the salinas of San Pedro and Torrevieja and the marshlands of Santiago de la Ribera. On the other hand, Antonio Jesús Muñoz shows daily moments captured with special skill and Carlos Javier Teruel focuses on sea as a leading landscape photographer that he is.

Emilio Reino shows a photographic serie focused in different lighthouses and José Carlos Ñíguez, in his usual style of conceptual photography, shows his view of the Mediterranean twilight. Julián Contreras shows La Algameca Chica through his documentary photographic eye and José Luis Balsalobre shows some mediterranean photographs with peculiar sense of humor. Mariano Belmar delights us with his beaches, while that Joaquín Molina travels until  “La Puntica” under some really shocking colors.

Finally, Carlos José Pérez shows his original serie “we will tell lies” and Francisco Silvente shows some beach elements such as  fitting rooms, marshlands and watchtowers, with processed very smart. The exhibition arrives to the Universidad Popular with the intention of making understand to the attendees, through the photography and of the different visions of the photographers, in the setting where we live. Having the Mediterranean, its cultures and people, as link between all the photographs.
