In celebration of International Women’s Day, which falls on March 8, the Town Hall of Mazarrón is holding its second annual photography competition, with members of the public invited to take part and explain what motivated them to do so and how they chose their subject matter.

All residents of the municipality of Mazarrón may enter the event by simply sending their image and short explanation to mazarronporlaigualdad@mazarron.es before March 21. The jury will decide on the winners shortly afterwards, prizes being as follows:

First prize: a meal for four at Restaurante La Inesperada.

Second prize: a meal for two at Restaurante el Mata.

Third prize: a meal for two at Restaurante Copo de Oro.
