The mayor of Mazarrón, Gaspar Miras, has issued a decree on the occasion of the State of Alarm that establishes Royal Decree 463/2020 of March 14 from the Government of Spain published in the Boe.

In the decree issued by the Mayor's Office, and taking into account that the carrying out of administrative procedures is not among the exceptions to the free movement of persons and that all terms of administrative procedures are also suspended; In-person citizen services are closed in person at the following municipal services:

▪Attention to residents and the registration of documents
▪Registration and statistical services
▪Social Services and Social Policy
▪Urban planning
▪Commerce, consumption and Industry
▪Staff
▪Secretary
▪Tourism
▪Sports
▪Archives and Libraries

Within all these services, telephonic attention will be maintained through the line 968 59 00 12. The documents, requests and communications that citizens address to the Mazarrón City Council may be submitted by electronic means through electronic registration.

The services declared essential will remain 100% operational, establishing as such:

▪Personnel attached to the Department of Social Services
▪Local Police
▪112 operating personnel
▪Civil Protection
▪Street cleaning services, garbage collection
▪Park and garden services.
