Just over 120,000 euros are being invested in work to enlarge the “consultorio” or public health service centre in the Mazarrón village of La Majada, improving the services offered to residents of Leiva, La Atalaya and Gañuelas as well as La Majada itself.

The works contract has been signed by Gaspar Miras, the Mayor of Mazarrón, confirming the Project to increase the floor area of the medical centre by 55 square metres by means of a contract for precisely 120,371.38 euros. A new consulting room is to be created as well as a toilet, a reception area and a changing room, while at the same time access is to be made easier for those of limited mobility
