THE CITY COUNCIL MAINTAINS THE SUSPENSION OF FOOD MARKETS THROUGHOUT THE MUNICIPALITY
From the consistory a new call is made to tranquility, thanking those who are strictly complying with the quarantine regulations
The Mazarrón Council maintains the suspension of the markets throughout the municipality, as it had already been determined last weekend, after the social alarm caused by the holding of a weekly food market that was scheduled to be held under the recommendation of the General Directorate of Public Health of the Region of Murcia to avoid discrimination in the retail sector against large stores.
Given the controversy that occurred in Mazarrón in the last few hours among the people of Mazarrón and due to the misunderstanding of holding this food market, with a few stalls duly separated by the security measures dictated by the health authorities, the consistory has decided to suspend its celebration to calm the residents.
The Mazarrón City Council had acted in favor of those small food merchants, as support for this sector and as it has been doing with the commitment and support to local commerce, so that small businesses continue to be used as the engine of our economy, thus supporting them in these difficult times. In fact, from the consistory, aid to local trade is being studied as support for traditional trade against large stores.
From the consistory a new call is made to tranquility, thanking those who are strictly complying with the quarantine regulations and remembering that home isolation is mandatory with exits only for the cases contemplated in the Royal Decree of the State of Alarm.
