The last Saturday was inaugurated in the esplanade of the beach promenade of La Ermita of Puerto de Mazarrón a craft market that, under the name “Sailor Market – Bahía”, will be opened until next 26th August. The inauguration  was in charge of the Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, and the council of Trade and Consumer, Isidro Coy; and had the performance of the ethnic group “Al-folk” that was leaded by a dancer of bellydance.

Many tourists gathered  around the group to enjoy of the show, while others were visiting the different stands in which highlights the sale of crafts products such as gifts and jewellelry, clothes and complements, and sweets. More than twenty stands installed by the town hall accommodate to the different stands that can be visited in the afternoon and until midnight.

Si el paseo de la playa de La Ermita acoge el “Mercado Marinero”, la avenida Costa Cálida acoge hasta el 2 de septiembre el “Mercado Medieval”. En este caso el consistorio ha dispuesto también una veintena de casetas donde están instalados los puestos que están situados cerca de la Biblioteca Municipal de Puerto de Mazarrón. En ellos además de productos artesanos, se pueden adquirir otros artículos propios de este tipo de mercadillos, en el mismo horario que el anterior.

El Alcalde de Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, ha querido resaltar que “en la línea de trabajo por alcanzar una mejor y mayor excelencia turística en el municipio, hemos decidido instalar estas casetas que ofrecen una mejor imagen frente a lo que se ha venido haciendo en pasados años. El pasado verano no tuvimos margen de maniobra, pero este hemos trabajado para que Puerto de Mazarrón tuviera unos mercadillos de calidad como se merece”.
