Information labels are being placed on bins around the urbanization, to help residents to use the correct recycling bins. They contain the following information:

 

YELLOW LABELS - They show cartons (milk, orange, juice etc) and plastic bottles - Please use these recycling containers for TINS and CANS as well.

 

BLUE LABELS - they show cardboard and paper

 

DISPOSAL OF FURNITURE, APPLIANCES, ETC.

 

WHITE/GREEN information labels, provide instructions for the DISPOSAL OF FURNITURE etc. They read:

 

'Leaving domestic items (furniture, appliances etc) on public roads is prohibited according to the Municipal By-Laws. 

Items must be taken to the Ecopark which is a free service and is open from Monday to Friday 08:00-14:00 and 17:00-19:00, Saturday from 08:00-12:00.

For people who cannot take them to the Ecopark there will be a collection on the 1st and the 16th of each month. The items should ONLY BE LEFT THE NIGHT BEFORE COLLECTION next to the nearest container.

 

PLEASE NOTE: The Ecopark facility is available to residents and homeowners only - Commercal enterprises must, by law, have a contract with a management disposal Company who deals with the disposal of their waste.  

 

The gardening waste containers in Camposol are EXCLUSIVELY for the use of Camposol residents and homeowners. They cannot be used by professional gardeners that work in the area to deposit garden remains. Professional gardeners are required, by law, to have a contract with a commercial waste management Company who deals with the disposal of their waste.
