An explosion of joy inundated yesterday “La Aceña” sports hall once that the senior team “Bahía de Mazarrón Fútbol Sala” managed to rise as a champion of the “Final Four” of the Amateur Cup of this sport that this weekend has been disputed in Mazarrón. The  mazarronero team imposed in an exciting final for  4 goals to 3 to “Club Deportivo Barinas”, that fighted at all time by trying to counter  the good play displayed by the local team.

“Bahía de Mazarrón F.S.” arrived to the final after winning on Saturday to “Espíritu Santo” team of Espinardo for  5 goals to  2, while that  “C.D. Barinas” won in the other  semifinal to the “Club Deportivo San Basilio” of Murcia for a scoreboard of 6 goals to 4. The final teams disputed an exciting match  that was followed by a big number of fans who gathered in “La Aceña” sport hall  and that encouraged to the mazarronero team at all times.

“Bahía de Mazarrón F.S.”, with its president Antonio Urrea to the head, caught the trophy that accredited them as winners of this championship from the council of Sports of the Town Hall of Mazarrón, Andrés Valera, and from the vicepresident of the Committee of Futsal of the Federation of Football of Murcia Region (FFRM), Diego López. Also were in the delivery David Fernández, council of Citizen Participation, and  Francisco Martínez and José Manuel Gómez as vocal of the mentioned committee  of the FFRM.

The players celebrated the achievement of this title that dedicated to the fans that were encouraged during the semifinal of Saturday, and in the final of Sunday. Andrés Valera congratulated to the components of the mazarronero team and to its president “for this title that makes bigger the Futsal and the mazarronero sport” and wished that “the club gets much more titles in its next 25 years of life” at reference to XXV anniversary that this year celebrates this club.
