Celebrations Department of the Town Hall of Mazarrón has programmed on Saturday 5th October an equestrian -flamenco event to benefit of Cáritas of Mazarrón and Puerto de Mazarrón. The event was presented yesterday by the councillor for Celebrations, Isidro Coy, who was accompanied by representatives of Cáritas of both towns, and also by the artists and associations that have joined to this solidary initiative. The event , that will be held in  the portable bullring of Playa Grande, has a  price of  3 euros for each ticket and will start at  7 p.m.

In the event , whose show will last between two hours and a half and three hours, will perform the local groups ‘Los Luisos’ and ‘Los Morenos’, and also the  Horse Riding Association ‘El Mazarronero’ and the Association  Rociera ‘Aires de Mazarrón’. All of them will participate disinterestedly  providing their art to this initiative whose tickets can be purchased in advance in Cáritas Mazarrón, stationer's shop ‘Folder’, gift´s shop ‘Leyco’ and  household store ‘Antonio García’ in Mazarrón; Cáritas Puerto de Mazarrón, bookstore ‘Calle Mayor’ and  bakery ‘Capellini’ in Puerto; and also in ticket office  of bullring the same day of the show.

 Cáritas Mazarrón and its homologue of el Puerto, have requested the help of the neighbours of the town that  “although they can´t attend, can buy an tickect like a 'Row 0' it were”. Also, during the event there will be some raffles and draws through which will raise funds for both organizations to those who, reminded, can bring food, mainly perishable that are the most needed, as there are many  people that need the help of Cáritas daily due to the effects of the crisis.

The Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, has encouraged to the neighbours “to enjoy of this fun activity that with affection has been programmed from the Town Hall of Mazarrón, in order to help needy families of our town”. The first councillor has wished that the event  “have the same , or better welcome, like the throwing of farolillos (lanterns) that we held on the beach of Puerto at the end of August as, everyone provides a little, we can help a lot of people, and also enjoy of a  different show in the town with the family and friends”.
