Until 23 March Mazarrón Town Council  receives the exhibitions “Other look of the taurine picture” of Paco Sastre. The sample is composed in total by  58 images that, on the one hand , makes a run about what is the taurine celebration and , on the other, shows a compilation of taurine details and the bull in the field. The exhibition presents some new works of the author, and others already known, that are a clear wink to the Murcian artist Ramón Gaya and as well makes reference to the popular bullfight of the Festival Against the Cancer Contra.

The  inauguration, that was held last Friday, was chaired by Mazarrón Mayor, Ginés Campillo, who was accompanied by Cultural, Tourism and Education Council, María Celeste Soria, and the author of the exhibition. Mazarrón Mayor was “especially happy to  have an exhibition of  Paco Sastre, as he is one of the most recognized personalities  in the bullfighting world”. Ginés Campilló wished that “be many people who come to see the exhibition, as the photographs have high quality from the artistic point of view”.

On the other hand, the author thanked to Mazarrón Town Hall its good availability to receive this exhibition from whom he feels a special fondness as   “I like to express to each of the bullfighthers at the time facing the bull, because is when they are most themselves”. The naturalness and the tradition shake handsm in this exhibition that can be visited from Monday to Saturday from 10am to 2pm and from 5pm to 8pm from Thursday to Friday.

The council María Celeste Soria spoke about the Culture and the Art of the bulls Celebration, and as well about photograpgy art, indicating that  “to see this exhibition, the author has achieved join both themes in a different way and enhances a celebration as the taurine” adding that  “in this moment that bulls are criticized, that a pesonn makes this work respecting the tradition, the forms and the content of the bulls, at the time that contributed a new vision through the new technologies, gives a renewal air of our national celebration”.
