Last Saturday the council of Environment of the Town Hall of Mazarrón has carried out  the reforestation with some pines of an area of Camposol urbanization  in which have also participated the foreign residents organization  “Green Fingers” and the group  “Reforestadores de Mazarrón”. This initiative is added  to the reforestation of pines that some weeks ago carried out the council with the Traders Association of Mazarrón and Region (ACOMA).

The campaign, with  which will give life to the pines that has been used by the traders and particulars during the last Christmas, “will go on with the distribution of these trees among the education centers of  Mazarrón next week”, has stated the council responsible of Environment, David Fernández, who has thanked “the implication and the good work of the associations and organizations that are adding to this initiative promoted from the Town Hall”.

The Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, has stated that  “never before had undertaken so many good actions from the council of Environment. A department that also has important projects to undertake for the next years and it is one of the departments that most is betting to enhance the value of the town, and also its natural resources”.
