The event will take place next Saturday, June 29, 2024, at 10:30 PM.

The Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, has announced a collaboration with Rock's King Tribute for a spectacular Elvis Presley tribute concert. The event will take place next Saturday, June 29, 2024, at 10:30 PM at Plaza del Salitre, Mazarrón.

The Mayor stated that the event is an opportunity to highlight Mazarrón with this magnificent concert. "We look forward to seeing everyone next Saturday 29 to enjoy this spectacular event, it is a unique occasion to delight and be amazed by the music of Abdón".

Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the iconic concert “Aloha from Hawaii,” which made history as the first satellite-broadcasted concert by a solo artist, this event promises to revive the magic of Elvis with impressive fidelity. Rock's King Tribute, featuring an orchestral production that respects the original arrangements by Joe Guercio, offers a musical experience that transports the audience back to 1973.

The band features "Willie" Climent, whose portrayal of Elvis is recognized as one of the best in Europe. Alongside him, an ensemble of 36 talented musicians will recreate the repertoire of 23 songs from the “Aloha from Hawaii” concert.

Prominent musicians such as drummer Fiti Espejo, pianist Abdón Alcaraz, guitarist Paco Dodero, bassist Fran "Persin," and a 10-member wind section led by Ginés Aznar, as well as 16 choir members from Coral Discantus, under the direction of Ángel Carrillo, will complement the evening. The show will also feature special collaborations from Miguel Ángel Orengo on orchestral percussion and violinist Alberto Núñez.

Sound direction will be led by Pepe Moreno and the stage logistics will be executed with an impressive setup in a mega-trailer by Espectáculos Liverpool.

The concert is an outdoor and free event, sponsored by the Mazarrón City Council, and produced by Taiko Productions S.L. All citizens and visitors are invited to join in this unique celebration of the music and legacy of Elvis Presley.
